Mobile SEO Dos & Don’ts?

DON’T assume all “mobile” traffic is mobile. Some of it is robots.
DON’T create short, fluffy content for mobile users. They want a good return on their investment. Mobile browsing is painful and users don’t want to waste their time on low quality content.
DO make your site easy to read on a smart device.
DO use mobile-friendly navigation. “Less is more”
DO expect mobile users to be more ephemeral than desktop users.

More people search on mobile than on computers, mobile generates more page views. If your site is not mobile-friendly, users are less likely to stick around. And if your site is slow, they may not even wait for the page to load.

To increase the chances to rank high in Google, you have to put your main keywords in your titles and meta descriptions. It’s also important to have your keywords in the body text.

Being a contributor on popular sites from your industry will help you reach a new audience and potentially earn new loyal readers. Only write for very reputable websites and make sure your content is at least as good as the one from your website. Your articles have to be outstanding.

Quality content makes the difference between a regular website and one that dominates the internet. Your articles have to be well-researched and have to engage with your readers. Always ask people to write comments and share the articles with their friends on social media.
