You simply can't compare these two awesome Google resource tools to give preference to any one. Both tools are very important for any website owner for different purposes. Google Analytics is used for tracking visitors, traffic and sessions and Google webmaster tool is used for indexing of web-pages and content on your site.

Google Webmaster and Analytics both are good for SEO. Both have their own benefits and identity.
