Even though, it's a good practice to use Nofollow link attribute to those link, where you don't want to pass link-juice. Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. If a webmaster is linking back to you with this link both Search Engine and Humans will be able to follow you.

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it’s page rank influence to an outbound link.
Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it’s page rank status to other sites. |

The do follow links allow web crawlers to follow the links and also pass on the link-juice to your site. Where as no follow tag restrict these advantages.
