I wanted to know that What is the purpose of Doorway pages and why people use it for?

Cloaking is a part of the unethical practices in SEO that offers deceiving mechanisms for the search engines. It provides use of false pages that are loaded with the keyword and other content that is search engine optimized. Cloaking enables search results to get rank the page higher in search engines. Not very prevalent after the recent Google algorithm updates which penalize keyword stuffing.

Doorway pages are Web pages designed and built specifically to draw search engine visitors to your website. They are standalone pages designed only to act as doorways to your site. Doorway pages are a very bad idea for several reasons, though many SEO firms use them routinely.
