You can generate a sitemap using various online sitemap generator.

create a site map:

Open a Web project in Visual SourceSafe Explorer.

On the Web menu, click Create Site Map.

In the Create Site Map for dialog box, use the To box to specify the file to contain the site map. Alternatively, you can click Browse to locate a file to use.

Select the Check in to Visual SourceSafe check box.

Click OK. The specified file is created and checked in to the database.

If desired, you can navigate to the file and customize it.

There are 2 methods to build a sitemap:
Build Your Own Site Map
1. Start a new document in a text editor
2. Create your sitemap template
3. Save the file as an XML file
4. Upload the sitemap to your server
5. Submit your sitemap to the search engines

The other way is
Using a Sitemap Generator
1. Browse the available services
2. Check if your CMS (Content Management System) has a sitemap creation program
3. Choose an alternative sitemap
4. Submit your sitemap

You can use various sitemaps tools that are available on Google like xml-sitemaps.com to get your sitemap

sitemap submitted to the major search engines greatly increases your chances of your site’s content showing up in relevant searches. If you’re trying to earn money from your website, take a few minutes to create and submit your sitemap

If you are using WordPress Platform, then use Yoast plugin to update XML Sitemap for website or custom website user update XML sitemap with XML-Sitemap.com
