In my opinion!
Actually, PPC can be considered in two ways.
1. You have to pay per each click on your own ads. Google Adwords is one example.
2. You get paid on each click happens on your site. Google Adsense is an example.
Usually, PPC refers to the first meaning above. Moreover, many people use PPC to drive traffic to their affiliate sites, and they'll get a commission when some products are sold.

PPC is Pay per click. Google adwords is pay per click. You pay money for every click that you receive in the sponsored listings in search engines.Affiliate marketing is when you sell products that are owned by other companies, and you make a commission off their items.
