Most of previous SEO link building techniques are outdated and not in use. Google is getting more starter as the time goes. I want to know that Is article submission still useful for keyword ranking?

Article Submission have strong link building technique if you have a unique and Quality content . and try to promote it too .

Articles submission still beneficial for getting backlinks or traffic. But make sure that your article should be informative with fresh content. Don't use keyword stuffing in your content make it as per google guidelines. You keyword density should be 3-4% and write your content for your audience. And if the website allows you to take link then you can get link else don't try to make links in your content.

It's important to remember, all google cares about is content and how popular it is in terms of links. Articles are fine if they are on a good site and have lots of links.
