Can anyone tell me here What is the difference between charity and philanthropy? And where i can get best ideas about Philanthropist? Your ideas are highly appreciate here...Thanks..

Philanthropy : goodwill toward one's fellow men esp. as expressed through active efforts to promote human welfare.
Charity : the kindly or sympathetic disposition to aid the needy as a result of deep feeling or understanding of their misery or suffering.
