What is integrated forest management?

I am preparing for an environment course and I need to know what integrated forest managment is. I can't find a definition anywhere!

Broadly this seeks to describe the management of a forest area for all different user groups, including but not limited to: commercial forestry, biodiversity, cultural heritage, water, soil health and recreation.
