Large-scale integration (LSI) is the process of integrating or embedding thousands of transistors on a single silicon semiconductor microchip. LSI technology was conceived in the mid-1970s when computer processor microchips were under development.

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. These are keywords that are similar to synonyms and related keywords, but not entirely so. They are the words a normal human would use when talking about the keyword topic.

(1) Short for large-scale integration refers to the placement of thousands of electronic components on a single integrated circuit.
(2) Short for Latent semantic indexing.it is an algorithm used by search engines to determine what a page is about outside of specifically matching search query text.
