What are the current platforms for website development?
 
When you decided to build a website for your business then the first question always hovering into your mind that in which platform you should develop your website or which one is the best? Do you know platform? What I am discussing here? Platform is the fundamental language which utilized to develop a website. Today in the market there are so many platforms are available which are used for developing.
The most popular platforms are .NET, PHP and most trending JSP.
ASP.NET (Active Server Pages): This technology is used for making the WebPages or web application. The code of ASP.NET is compiled means that is converted into executable file and then it is utilized into your website. You can say that it is server side platform. It is not an open source means it is not available free to use. It is very large library which covers various database functions and interaction.
PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor): It is the most popular scripting language. It is embedded into the HTML pages. It is open source and free to use. For example Facebook, this is developed using PHP platform.
JSP (Java Server Pages): It is the most trending web development platform. With the help of this developer can make responsive website which is very important now a day. It can be used with PHP and ASP.NET.
