Difference between page rank and alexa rank ?

Please guide me ..What is the difference between page rank and alexa rank ?

Alexa rank is the competition of all the site in the world. its depend on visitors. again page rank is shown the quality of your site have. page rank not depends on visitor. its depend on backlink, page indexing ,visitor,inbound and outbound link, quality content, regular publishing content etc

Page ranking was given by the Google from 0 - 10, and alexa rank will be given by the alexa and it will range in millions.

Note: page rank has been stopped by the google, but yes, you can improve your alexa ranking.

Never indulge in any blackhat activities, and see with your patience you will come in a good website owners list.

Alexa rank is depending upon number of visitors visiting the site...if the visitors increased then Alexa rank also will be increased. Where as Google PR is depending upon ..PR of inbound links.

page is given page google for single web pages
alexa rank is given by alexa for website.

Alexa rank of a particular website is based on total number of visitors who visit on that site, when number of visitors increased then alexa rank simultaneously increased and on the other hand Google PR of the site depends upon PR of inbound links.

Page Rank is the used to find out the website importance and alexa rank is the used to find out the website traffic...

Alexa rank is related to visitors statistics and page rank is to Google.

I am always confused with these two's Alexa Rank and Page rank, I see some of the directories has better Alexa Rank but Low PR or even at 0.
