For getting the website listed in the paid area of the SERPs, you need to pay for it and that is called "paid results", and the links shown naturally in SERPs are called as organic results.

Organic results are that when traffic comes to the search engine through the specific keywords related to the business niche. To rank, the keywords take time but retains for long time.
Paid results are that when traffic comes from the PPC or other paid tool for getting more amount of organic traffic towards the wedsite. It will work for the limited time when your subscription over it will dead.
