Can you differentiate between ‘nofollow’ and ‘dofollow’ link?

No follow is an attribute given to links for search engines. Google do not follow/visits the links which are marked as no follow. Vice versa is the case of do follow links.
No-follow is search engine can't cache link and Do-follow is search engine cache link and give do-follow backlinks.
Do follow links pass the reputation and the link juice while nofollow do not pass the reputation and the link juice. Quality Dofollow backlinks contribute more in google ranking than the nofollow link.
Nofollow links attributes do not allow search engine bots to follow link.
Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. Giving us link juice and a backlink. |
Do follow link is better to get points for website link and get good rank.
Dofollow link passes link juice to site, important for getting good ranking in SERP. But you should also have nofollow links as to show your backlink profile natural.
In Chrome, go to the navigation bar and click View>Developer>View Source. Alternatively you can just right-click on a page and hit Inspect Element. For Firefox, do Right-Click>View Page Source.
From there, do an Edit>Find and search for “nofollow” in the search box. All instances of the nofollow tag will be highlighted. |
nofollow links can not be cached by search engine bot, so no follow links could not help to index our site in to the search engine. dofollow backlinks are very important to index our site on search engine.
