Page Rank is very important for any website. If you use good quality backlinks, then you can get high page rank on Google.

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm used by Google to help determine the relative importance of a website. For increase your PageRank, you need to have quality"back-links," or other people linking to your website.

If we want our website ranked well, create good back-links with good contents post on website.

I don't focus on Pagerank because aside from the fact that it will not be updated anymore (as per Google), what's important for me now is how to rank on SERP and get conversions from my target market.
