Which One You Prefer : Twitter Or Facebook ?
 

Facebook is a multi-purpose social networking platform, allowing users to chat, post photos and notes, and play games, Twitter is built around the posting of short 140 character messages, or “tweets.” I love to use both.

Both are different, you can get traffic from facebook even if you have few fans but to get traffic from twitter you need lot of followers.
So focus on both

As per my point of view both are good to get traffic for the website but the facebook is more user friendly.

Both are useful tools when used in conjunction with well designed and well written websites.

facebook is better as per me but these days it has become dead even for my paid ads

Twitter is great...

I prefer Facebook, Because as you describe it allow many thing that twitter does not. We can write many words as we can. but in Twitter we can not write above 140 character. we can share our latest post in modern manner but it twitter we can not do this. So I prefer Facebook. Every one have it's own point of view.

Cant quite figure out how to get followers on Twitter. I have over 4000 Facebook friends in my niche and over 1000 likes, and tons of traffic from Pinterest. Nothing from Twitter
