Compare to https, more secure version so backlinks are most of the websites are not allowing , so goes with http

At the moment https is just a small ranking factor so if your site doesn't require sensitive user input like login data, credit card numbers and such, there's no point in doing it.
You can always implement it later if Google adds more weight to it.
