How to increase the short keywords rank in the google search engine because longer keywords didn't drive traffic towards my website.

Backlinks and content are two important factors which play great role in SERP ranking. You should publish qualitative, useful and informative content on your website. Backlinks should come from same niche sites and high pr websites.

It's very difficult to get good ranking with short keywords.but you can do through forum posting.

Focus on Keyword density in your content but not so much and of course get backlinks fro the specific keywords....

Dofollow backlinks from high PR relevant sites can only help to get ranking.

I think you should focus more on social media media optimization. From there, you will get higher traffic.
