Why developers prefer ruby on rails programming then other developing resources?

It's quite easy and comes stacked with different packages you can install and make your life easier.

I noticed from your signature that you're quite a ruby fan, you should be giving us a reason :).

I myself am not really keen on ruby, have just used it once or twice to gain some experience with it.
