I have read an article on Search engine land, that Google is misattributing the content of major news publishers , does any one of you has notice these kinds of misattributing, is there any way to tackle this kind of situation? Please any suggestion would be appreciative.

There are so many mistakes Google has made, like Google bomb on Bill Clinton. Google accepted it some time, sometime they don't! :)

Google softwares are not perfect, even producing search results. Google plus do not share any article without authorization, and I did not find any mis-attribution of content.

Sometime even google makes mistakes. The only thing you can do is exploiting it if it's good, or avoid it if it's bad. Or you can just wait for google to update their algorithm to a new one.
