SEO vs PPC

Which technique is better?

jaysh4922 11-14-2013 12:17 AM

SEO and PPC are two different ways of promoting a website . in seo as we know we list our website in various search engines and we look after the site ranking in the search engine, by maintaining our site by looks , info, content, performance etc. and other things like submitting links of our site to other related sites. but in PPC which is called pay per click we pay for the as many as clicks, our site viewers click the site, and we pay for the ads we made in other sites, this is also a way of promoting the site, other ways are blogging , writing article about our site, joining forums, etc.

SEO :-

1. SEO’s return on investment will continue to rise long after PPC has peaked. This is because of several reasons. If you are consistently searching for similar terms (because it’s your field of interest) then you will start to see the same ads and develop the equivalent of banner blindness (visually tuning out the ads).

2. 85% of clicks resulting from a search are on the organic links rather than the paid ads.

3. 86% of web searchers trust organic SEO listings more than sponsored/paid PPC listings.

PPC :-

1. PPC has instant results and can generate visitors as soon as you turn on the taps (much faster than SEO which needs to build authority for your site). Adding in a crowd sourced company like Trada and you can not only take the work off your plate – but see a higher ROI as a result.

2. You can manage your budget and measure your ROI much more easily with PPC.

3. 50% of people arriving at a retailers site from paid ads are more likely to buy than those who came from an organic link.

SEO is natural organic and PPC is unnatural , it is not organic

Both techniques are important for our sites ranking But I’m preferred to SEO because PPC can do suddenly up your ranking but if your sites have not any potential then it will go down. And SEO work is targeted on all the major factors which can help you ranked on the top like: good content & design etc.

SEO is better compare to PPC, because PPC need long investment and conversion is very low, but SEO gives high conversion.

In my opinion, I like to prefer SEO because PPC includes Paid Search Results And also needed long investment whereas SEO includes Organic Search Results And need less investment.

from ppc you can get instant results but seo is a long term process it may take time ,,,,
in ppc you have to spent much money as compared to seo.
both are good.
