Hello Friends,

What is bounce rate?

Bounce rate is the measurement in percentage of how many Web site visitors view only one page within your Web site – this is the one page they entered the site on (called the entrance page or landing page). These visitors view only that single page and exit the site on that same page.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that hit your website on a given page and don’t visit any other pages on your site.

High bounce rate in itself doesn't mean it is a bad site. I would think google looks to see if you continue your search, going back to the google search results and looking at more sites.I really doubt that bounce rate make a different on SERP.

Bounce rate is an Online marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It shows the percentage of visitors who enter the site and leave the site without viewing other pages within the same site.
Bounce rate is good for E-Commerce websites but it is not good for web services websites. Because it is fine if people visit E-commerce website but don’t buy anything. On the other hand Web Services websites with high bounce rate is leads poor performance of the website.

Bounce rate increases when a user exits a page without entering a second page of the website. Exit rate increases when a user visits all pages of the website and exits using a exit page of the website.
