How frequently we should change the page content?

From a SEO perspective, how frequently we should change the website contents? It has been said by many experts that google always looks for fresher contents and gives more priority. Can anyone elaborate this concept?

Hi,
google may want and like only the fresh and unique contents. You can frequently change your content once or twice in a month and give it in chain process..
