Facebook is good, it provide more security compare than Twitter.

Facebook and twitter both are good but twitter is good for bookmarking and it carried more value for search engine. There are many social media service site whose provide you huge amount of followers if you cost some money and hire them. Search it google, hope that you can get it easily.

I have not used twitter much although i do use it for social bookmarking. Facebook does looks more useful to me.

Facebook All the way. It is one to many promotion. Twitter is one to one. And most of the tweets gets skipped.

I would rather say that both Facebook and Twitter is very good in their own way...Why not use both to gain extra benefits....?? If you have a blog or site, then you must create a Facebook page and Twitter handle with the name of your blog/site.....It will provide ample number of extra traffics to your blog......

But most of the people follow each other randomly and dont even bother to check all tweets. In my opinion, twitter is not that great option for promotional purpose.

Facebook hands down. Twitter is a joke. Paid for their advertising and had no hits, I was willing to spend a couple hundred to. Facebook I spend a couple hundred I get a ton of revenue generated from it.
