Bounce rate

Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. A high bounce rate suggests that more and more visitors are finding your website slow, irrelevant or unappealing.

If your bounce rate exceeds 50%, you must:
- Avoid having too many ads and hyper attractive banners on your site. They interfere with site navigation and make visitors ad blind.
- Make site navigation as easy as possible.

An increase in the bounce rate is not good for the site because it is the identification of the poor quality of the website which most of the visitor's don't like because of poor quality website design, unclear navigation structure of the website, poor readability, duplicate content on the site and loading speed of the web page is very high and leave the site immediately.

Good review on bounce rate. I always try to keep my bounce rate to a very low level by working hard on download time and as well as keeping navigation as improved as possible for easier usage.

nice thanks for sharing .

I agree with you jenny, because I faced it recently I have a blog and I upload number of pictures so after two days its bounce rate going high almost 80%. I also said that you just put the unique content on a quality basis then your visitors stuck on your site and your bounce rate automatically decreases.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance page. A high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors.

Bounce rate is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and "bounce" rather than continue viewing other pages within the same site.

Also sometimes you need to split the large articles into segments (across multiple pages) to reduce the bounce rate or to put an attractive video on your landing page.

Bounce Rate tells what percentage of your visitors visit your blog but leave without going through your content or traversing other pages of your blog (i.e. they are just visiting landing page, and leave your site without opening second page of your site)This rate is shown as percentage.

For an instance, if your site has a bounce rate of 75%, it means that 75 out of every 100 visitors who clicked on to your link did not view the other pages of your blog rather simple left within seconds on visiting the first page of your blog.

A bounce is a single-page session on your site. In Analytics, a bounce is calculated specifically as a session that triggers only a single request to the Analytics server, such as when a user opens a single page on your site and then exits without triggering any other requests to the Analytics server during that session.

Bounce rate is single-page sessions divided by all sessions, or the percentage of all sessions on your site in which users viewed only a single page and triggered only a single request to the Analytics server.

Bounce rate

Bounce rate not measure how long user spent on your site this is only measurement whether they have viewed only one page or more than one page that process called as bounce rate

jaysh4922 05-09-2018 05:12 AM

High bounce rate in itself doesn't mean it is a bad site. I would think google looks to see if you continue your search, going back to the google search results and looking at more sites.I really doubt that bounce rate make a different on SERP.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that hit your website on a given page and don’t visit any other pages on your site.
