You can follow some people who are related to your business. They can be customers, experts or others.

I haven't really used it that much but that seems like a good idea. If you follow the people who are related to your business and then respond to their posts, their followers may look you up. If they like what you say, they may follow you. Also try alternating posts, some business related some life in general. Have the business ones contain links to your website. If they like that, they may follow you and they may also tell their friends. IMHO!

Twitter for the Growth of Business?

Twitter is instant messaging made available to the public. Twitter allows you to post updates called Tweets as often as you want and limited to 140 characters. When you follow other people on Twitter, you see their tweets. When they follow you, they see your tweets and that makes the information moves faster. It's a constant stream of communication.

If your content is good and frequently updated you will not only build a loyal audience of recurring visitors, who will often come to see what is new, but search engines will also love your site.
