Advantages of live chat software
 
I could see many websites using live chat programs like livezilla , phponlinechat on their website. Are they really useful to the visitors because in the most of the companies sites I have tried, I don't find any online representatives responding.

yes you are right. In most of the companies ,there were no representatives for the live chat. I think ,they just show the option for live chat. So, that they can say that they are providing features like their competitors.

they are really very helpful .I found they work when we need .fortunately i met the persons from the respective sites each time but i need to wait for them and i did

I see more and more companies beginning to use this feature, if you are available to chat then this is a great feature. Just don't be one of those companies that sets it up and then never has anyone available to respond to questions.

Live chat option on websites are undoubted useful for one to one customer support. It is most useful for E-commerce websites and portals. Many website are using live chat but they are always offline.
