Hi friends,
what is nofollow, anyone answer this question |
No follow means your website gets link from other website, but not get weight of the page rank for the page which link you means no follow links. No follow links doesn't count as link of particular website.
|
NOFOLLOW coverage that your site gets a link from other sites, but not the weight of the page rank of the page, which means there is no link to follow the links. No links below are not considered a link to the website in particular.

The nofollow link attribute (rel =;nofollow;) was originally created to block search engines from following links in blog comments, because of the amount of blog comment spamming
|
In addition to previous replies nofollow is often used for Link Sculpting which means directing link juice to the most valuable part of our website and blocking it form going to the less valuable parts like "Register" pages and "Terms of Service"

no-follow links help you to get traffic towards your site, but Google does not count this link
|
No follow is an attribute that implies if a site link is clicked, the PR of that link will remain unaffected in search engines. A no follow code does not block the content from view or prevent the indexing of content instead the prime intention of the no follow code is the prevention of spam and spamdexing. Also a site having both follow and no follow links appear more natural to Google, which is a desirable feature for SEO.

Great information! I agree most of you here and Ive been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!

No follow are the tags. These tags are never crawled by google spider.Hence a keyword having no follow tag does not carry any weight age.
|
No-follow is used not to follow and index that link by the search engine. Also, not to pass pr value to that link. It is in case of Google.

No follow means your website has a link but its not worth for the page rank. So,that we didn't use that.

A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.

nofollow is a value that can be assigned to the rel attribute of an HTML a element to instruct some search engines that the hyperlink should not influence the ranking of the link's target in the search engine's index.
|
"Nofollow" provides a way for webmasters to tell search engines "Don't follow links on this page" or "Don't follow this specific link."
Originally, the nofollow attribute appeared in the page-level meta tag, and instructed search engines not to follow (i.e., crawl) any outgoing links on the page. For example: Before nofollow was used on individual links, preventing robots from following individual links on a page required a great deal of effort (for example, redirecting the link to a URL blocked in robots.txt). That's why the nofollow attribute value of the rel attribute was created. This gives webmasters more granular control: instead of telling search engines and bots not to follow any links on the page, it lets you easily instruct robots not to crawl a specific link.
