Difference b/w nofollow and dofollow links?
Difference b/w nofollow and dofollow links?
|
Nofollow Links are the links which are non crawlable and tells crawlers not to follow.
Dofollow links are crawlable links and tells search engine bots to crawl and follow the links. |
It is important to get backlinks from do-follow website as it carries link juice to your website. No follow link is generally ignored by the search engines.
Note: You should not generate only do-follow links. If you do so it looks spammy and search engines conclude you are doing it for SEO only. So make sure to get mixture of do follow and no follow backlinks. |
Hi,
Do-Follow link : Search engine consider your link and it's help to increase your search engine result pages. No-follow Link : Search engine not consider your link and it;s may not help to increase your search engine ranking. Thanks |
Dofollow links gives the good result on the search engine marketing it is the booster to increase the results on the search engine page. It improves the website rank on the search engine.
No follow links cant be crawl by the google for search results and it can be neglected by the google for search engine. Nofollow links cant be counted for the required results. |
Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index.
Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. |
They don't pass link juice, but can still count towards your campaign....
|
When Google bots are crawling a website they look for external links point to other websites. If this links is “do follow” then search engines will follows the link and so link juice gets passed
If a search engine finds a “no follow” backlink it will just ignore the link and will not get deeper into crawling and no link juice is passed |
A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.
|
Do follow Link: A normal link in which google and other search engine bots follows through
the link is do follow link. No follow link: A link that doesn't allows Search engines bots to follow through are no follow links. Ex: rel="No Follow" |
'Do follow' links are crawled by search engine bots and thus they contribute to website backlink building. 'No follow' links are never crawled by search engine spiders and hence they do not contribute to backlink building. Both types of links are used to build traffic for your website and helps in keyword ranking in search engines.

All search engine count your dofollow backlinks and help to increase your search rank.
Search engine don't count your nofollow backlinks as like dofollow backlinks |
Nofollow or Dofollow links both are different and their work process would be difference. such as
Dofollow links are the links which can be crawled by the google and spread it to the relevant search results. Nofollow links are the links which cannot be crawled by the search engine and the links are not useful for the website so that the google only crawl the dofollow links. |
Nofollow Links is not crawl by google
Follow Links is crawl by google |

|

|
Dofollow links are more important. They will crawl all your link.

|
Links that point to another website are called do follow links and pass link juice to a page that help to increase itsranking in search engines.
A no follow link is a link that doesn’t point to another site. I think this is where people get confused, as people can still click onto a no follow link and get sent to another site, but in the eyes of the crowler they don’t point to othe sites. |
Nofollow links - Nofollow links attributes do not allow search engine bots to follow a link. That means if the website owner is linking back to you with Nofollow attributes, it does not pass on link juice.
Example of Nofollow Link: Dofollow links - Dofollow links allow google (all search engines) to follow them and reach our website. Giving us link juice and a backlink. Example of Dofollow Link: |
NoFollow links do not let link juice pass from the site giving the backlink to the original website. DoFollow links pass on link juice from one website to another.
|
Links that “point” to another site are called do follow links. These pass link juice to a page, help to increase its PageRank and raise its profile to the search engines. The more natural do follow links a website has, the higher it is likely to rank online.
A no follow link is a link that doesn’t “point” to another site.I think this is where people get confused, as people can still click onto a no follow link and get sent to another site, but in the eyes of the search engines they don’t “point” to anything. |
A Do follow link that count as points, pushing SEO link juice and boosting the page rank of the linked-to sites, helping them go higher in the SERPs as a result.
A No follow link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. |
