I would go with PHP. First of all, it is very simple to understand and get a grasp of it easily. Second, it is very powerful. It can do a lot with adding functions to the website. With the introduction of OO to PHP, it makes PHP becomes much more easier and powerful. Now you can manage and organize the code easily and at the same time, develop a very complicated function for the website.
