Depends what I'm reading. For me, the prose and its content dictate the speed of reading. If, as far as I am concerned, the words demand they be savoured - so be it. If I feel I want to read faster - so be it.

Morning is the best time read for me. Also I read when i am Free.

I read widely but across both non-fiction and fiction I appreciate careful crafting done with flair.

i read before bed, makes me tired really fast, i usually only get through about 7-10 pages before starting to fall asleep, also i dont read every night so it takes me a long time to finish a book.

I seldom scan books by identical author thus i principally go from one to following, while not wanting back.
