Nofollow and Dofollow both are generates back links but dofollow most preferable by Google during crawling process. Dofollow help to increased traffic and as well as page rank. It improves our sites ranking in search engine result pages.Nofollow is one of the properties of a link. Which allows one to actualize hotlink like any added hotlink but the basic aberration is that it does not considered in the search algorithm or it does not send out link juice and anchor text will not help it in increasing the rank of the page.
