keyword density is how many time a keyword is used in total words. if a keywords is used 2 time in total 100 words then density is 2%

In SEO, the most difficult part is off-page optimization where you have to build links from other sites. For on-page, you just have to write good articles with enough keyword density. I dont think you should have a problem in this area. The area where there is much problem is getting backlinks, especially one way, from other sites
