correct , Page rank is page authority rank given by Google that depends upon back links, content, daily page visits etc. But Google is not updating its page rank algorithm now.

corrcect, Page rank is an indicator of how many backlinks you have and where your backlinks come from, when a high page rank page link to you it will increase your page rank. But in the actual ranking it has minimum effect.
