I think builder just makes the house or any concrete structure, real estate developer is the term used for people that create a value of the land.

One is builder 7 another is contractor for making & selling

Builders builds the Flat or villa and gets payment from Devlopers. Now Builder is out of the frame. The selling of the appartment falls on Devlopers shoulder under his banner.

developer may do both or land /construction alone.

A builder is one who builds the property but a developer finds the property invests on it and then sells it

real estate developers in mysore which has become anybody's dream.

A builder merely needs to build the property. The developer finds the property, has the vision, comes up with the money or financing, and sells the properties.

A developer would be like a producer in film....doesn't necessarily get his hands dirty but masterminds it.

Real Estate developer take Land and Build upon it. But home builder only build home or building on land, they do not care about Land, they just plan for building and build.
