There are many paths to building links, such as link baiting or blogroll-link swapping, but few are as easy to implement and cost effective as submitting to blog directories. And good link juice makes for a growing blog.

The list is good. It is good to bear in mind, though, that those sites where you need an approval to submit your blog are usually much better than those where you do it on your own And, of course, your blog needs to be of high quality and with decent traffic in order to get approved.
