Bounce rate depends on single page visits. Means people comes on website and leaves from that page only, they don't navigate to other page. There is biggest myth Bounce rate affect the ranking, it does not.. There is no connection between ranking and bounce rate. Let me give an example, you want to know the age of president Obama. You search it in Google, open the first page, you got the age (which you want) and then left. It is obvious why you move to other page. So will that make that website bad? No, you got what you want. So bounce rate can't be the parameter in its current form.

Bounce rates should be maximum of 40-45% .. your website should get attracted by users on first visit itself...
