I think both are the same. They sell the properties of the owner and take the commission.

Brokers are generally required to have more education and experience than real estate salespersons or agents. The person you normally deal with is a real estate agent or salesperson. The salesperson is licensed by the state, but must work for a broker.

Broker is the mediator,who may or maynot work alone and agent is licensed to [ractice real estate independently.

In my country, Agents sell their company's department, their commission is not very high, usually they are fresh in this industry.
Broker sell every kind of real estate, their projects come from vast arrays of sources not just only companies, they are expert and have wide connection
