Facebook only good for getting traffic- NOT for SEO. Post links to your site. Don't overdo it though, or Facebook will penalize you and your links will show up less in newsfeeds.

You can use facebook for generating traffic and also for increasing your domain authority. Because when you share information on facebook regarding your website , people follow that link to visit your site.
