That means that everything about your shops and products is available to customers when they search on a Google property.

We can say that Google merchant is a place where we can upload our products' data on the Google search engine and it will tell Google these products have to sell and Google will add them to Google shopping.

Without Google Merchant Center (GMC), your products will not appear on Google Shopping. Also, you cannot create Product Ads unless you add sufficient product information to your GMC account. If you sell products directly to consumers, Google Merchant Center is one of the tools you need.
