And the moment Google reads this post it will see how many site have taken your offer. Then they will penalize yours site and any that are linked from your site. This was tried before. There was even a lawsuit over the sites being penalized. BTW, Google won the lawsuit.

Very strange thing I read in your comment... The internet is full with directories, and they have pretty good PR all over. Ours for example raised in the last year from 0 to 6... and trust me there was a lot of google spidering activity on it.
I read that article: so a website PR dropped... but this can have a million of reasons, which google doesn't even have to specify. And they are not specifying at all. How can you be sure that it was the page activity which for they got penalized? If that is true, how can be soo many directories on net, even with a lot higher pr than true-search?
And finally, how can you say "google reads this and finds the sites who answer to this" and penalize them too?
