You need to take care of these things in order to increase the traffic:

-> update blog daily
-> maintain good contents.
-> Design your blog a unique and eay to read for web users
-> submit your blog in major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN etc..,
-> do your blog marketing with link exchange, directory submission and banner marketing
-> do forum posting on other forums as more as you can.

All those methods may be give u visitors.. but for posting some or staying with u need something good from ur side. Do something good in ur site to attract ppls
