HTTP authentication failed, what now? - Site Owners Forums

I'm using HTTP authentication with the header('WWW-Authenticate: ...') thing and it works fine.

The problem is that when a user fails authentication, he can't try to login again, unless he closes his browser and tries again (I guess there's a cookie expiring with the browser session), which can be very frustrating for users.

I undestand why it happens: once a username and password is provided, the browser keeps informing the same information even though my script rejected those values.

Is there any way I can tell the client's browser that those values failed and that, if challenged again, they should be asked again to the user?

i have read your tutorial about entity editing.so i think you can help me
in half life 1 ,i use bspedit or ripent to extract entity from .bsp file and edit .but in hl2 game (counter strike-source) i haven't find any
program like this for hl2 maps (because bspedit and ripent doesn't work with hl2 map) do you know how to export and import entity from hl2 maps?
