Eliminate one unnecessary word from url helps for seo?
Hello,
The website I am working on is called robothaber.com and one of the main categories is "yazilim" for example. Currently the url displays as: robothaber.com/category/yazilim Would eliminating the word "category" help me for seo purposes? so that it will display as: robothaber.com/yazilim In other words, would eliminating an unnecessary word from url help you? In this case "robot", "haber" and "yazilim" are all relevant for my purpose. But "category" is not.
