Latent semantic indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called singular value decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text.

Latent semantic indexing is a concept that search engines like Google use to discover how a term and content work together to mean the same thing. This is very helpful to identify the most valuable keyword terms and to improve SEO traffic.

LSI Keyword is the keyword that is semantically linked to the main keyword. In SEO (search engine optimization) context, they are keywords that we should be using our content to help search engines understand our content better.

LSI is latent semantic indexing.
In simple words: it's all words that related to your main semantic kernel.
For example, while you're typing in google query like "buy power bank", and Google shows you pages which can contain any word "power bank", but contain "buy portable charger". So google understands what you mean and gives you relevant pages.
